Handing over the care of your baby for the first time is a huge step for any parent. But while it may be hard on you, rest assured that your baby will quickly adapt to their new surroundings and learn to know and trust their dedicated carers.

We will help you to settle your baby into our care over a period of days or weeks. We will talk to you in great detail about all aspects of our care and we will try to accommodate any special requests you may have.

Nursery Details

  • Our baby care rooms are spacious and self-contained, to allow our team to give your baby the individual care and attention they need at this early stage.
  • The baby room is isolated from the other rooms in the centre, containing its own kitchen and it has a separate nappy-changing area
  • We maintain a high ratio of nursery nurses to babies.
  • We provide you with a Daily Report sheet detailing all nutrition, sleeping, medical administration and nappy-changing so that you can monitor your baby's routine closely.

Weather permitting the babies will also venture out to the garden, where they can interact with the older children. We are delighted to welcome older siblings into our baby room at any stage to visit.

A settling in period is recommended by us in order for you and your child to gradually settle into the Creche. For more information, see our Policy and Procedure Booklet. Usually a settling in period is suggested to be the week before the child is due to start.
