As soon as your baby starts to find their feet we will talk to you about moving them to our Wobbler room. Children usually spend about six to eight months in this room.

In our Wobbler room the children are aged one and over. This room is structured at child’s level with many toys for the children to push and pull as they are just starting to walk. We have a daily routine in which the children may take part in with plenty of age appropriate equipment.

Wobbler Room Details

  • During this time your child will learn how to walk properly and become more co-ordinated.
  • In the Wobbler room we use visual, physical and audio educational resources to stimulate the children, and they have structured periods of play and sleep time.
  • Our Wobbler Room is where your child will spend much of their day experimenting, exploring and beginning to socialise.
  • We provide you with a Daily Report sheet detailing all nutrition, sleep periods, nappy-changing, play and learning activates, behaviour and any necessary medical administration.
  • Fresh air is essential in their day to day routine and we avail of our garden as much as possible during the day.
  • Whilst the emphasis in our Wobbler room is free play a little structure will be introduced in terms of meals and naps.
